I would definitely not deal with the hassle for the sake of a 20 minute time difference.

LOs birthweight was off by almost a pound on his birth certificate so I had to call the hospital and have them contact the health department to change it, then I just had to stop by to pick up a new one. I know it probably wouldn't have mattered, but I just wanted it to be correct!

I corrected the birth certificate before we signed it... the time was off by a few minutes. I know I had the time right b/c I took careful notes, and my iPhone was synced up to the Clock of Steve Jobs!

What I learned is that they're not very precise about the time of births!

My LO has my last maiden name incorrect. I think its something I need to fix but its such a pain and I haven't done all the paperwork yet.

Ours had the wrong state for my place of birth so we had it amended, but I probably wouldn't bother for the 20 min time difference.

I wouldn't bother. If it were an incorrect date or spelling that would be different, but the time? It's not like it really matters.

I just noticed that my LO's birth certificate has the wrong time of birth recorded. It's 20 minutes earlier than when she was actually born! Everything else is correct, including the date.

Should I bother changing it? I'm worried that if I get it changed, she'll have problems later on with having an "original" vs. "corrected" birth certificate.
