I will start this off by saying we've had a lot of changes in our family, we changed from a nanny share to a daycare, we moved, and I'm due with baby #2 in June, and I know that's a lot for anyone, let alone a toddler.

But at home, our daughter is a chatter box. She speaks in sentences. She tells us what she wants to eat. She sings, she counts, she tells us when she has to potty, etc.

I just found out at daycare today that she's completely nonverbal. Hasn't said a single word. Doesn't tell them anything, doesn't sing, doesn't talk to the other kids, doesn't tell them when she has to potty, nothing. She's been there for a little over a month.

Should we be concerned? Is she just being shy? Stubborn? Give her some more time? Is there anything we can do to encourage her to speak more in school?
