DS turned 2.5 last week and he has been taking longer and longer to fall asleep at night. He is also waking up earlier. He has blackout blinds in his room and it is very dark so I don’t think it’s the light. He just lays quietly in his crib for an hour before falling asleep. He falls asleep almost instantly for nap and sleeps about 2 hours so I don’t think he’s ready to drop it.

Here’s his “normal” schedule:
630: wake up
1-3: nap
730: asleep in crib

Here’s his “new” schedule
545/6: wake up
1-3: nap
8:30: asleep in crib

Is this normal? I feel like he’s not getting enough sleep, but he’s pretty happy even with this schedule change. Thoughts?
