I love Charleston, SC, so I would totally go there or maybe Asheville, NC if I wanted a mountain retreat. There are awesome hotels with nice spas at both and good food and shops to visit. I'm from the South, so both cities are close to me. Not sure what region you're looking at.

i would do paris in a heartbeat if ur located on the east coast. one of my fave solo trips ive taken before... love solo traveling from time to time!
