As much as I hate to say it, do you think it could be a chemical?

@LAZB: that's true. Did you test the same day as your beta? I wonder if the nurse wrote down results wrong?

@LAZB: this is interesting to me because the far right one is definitely the darkest.

@LAZB: retained placenta usually means bleeding or spotting.

with my chemical pregnancy, all of my tests looked as light as yours...some got a tad darker, some stayed super light but were there. My beta was a 6.7 at 13dpo and the nurse basically said it wasn't a viable pregnancy and to expect a period soon. I started bleeding 2 days later.

I think that hcg increases/decreases first in the blood, and the urine follows suit. I had 2 chemicals, and when I had a beta of 5, I had still gotten a light positive frer - even after I did the beta that morning. So blood is more accurate, but I'm not sure why or what causes the delay or how long the delay in the urine is exactly.

Since not getting darker and negative digital, I would assume non viable pregnancy.

So weird! I had this happen to me when I was nursing after both kids. I've gotten positive preg tests and not been pregnant. I never had a period, didn't miscarry but just would get faint positive tests but not be pregnant. I've googled, talked to people, never found an answer.
