So DH's nieces are turning 9 & 7. We don't see them a lot since they live in FL with their mom. Mom said they need clothes, so I got them some. But I still want to get something a little extra and "fun". The 9yo is a little fashionista. The 7 yo is into bows and necklaces.
Any ideas? Doesn't have to be the above suggestions? Need budget friendly since I already got them clothes. It also has to be small since they will be flying back.

@youboots: haha they are ADDICTED to lip balm. They have SO many! I got them some for Christmas and I'm sure they got more too and will probably get some for their birthday from others. I also got them chapstick holders with clips for their Easter "basket". But good ideas!!
Good idea on sunglasses - I don't think I've ever seen them wear one!

Anything from Claires... stick-on nails, fingernail polish, sunglasses or "fun" glasses, ipod cases if they have one. That is my go-to store for my nieces that are that age.

My 7 yr old is really into blind bags, like shopkins, fashems, etc. But they are just junk.. but cheap. She also likes sensory stuff like silly putty, orbeez, etc. Stuff to clip on her backpack like hand sanitizer, little plushies, etc... it's all junk to me!

@josina: I'll have to check and see if we still have a Claires! I haven't been to the mall in ages.
@T-Mom: what are blind bags? The backpack clip stuff are a good idea! Saving that for Christmas since schools out for them.

@regberadaisy: it's the little bags or boxes that have a collectible figurine inside, and you don't know what you are going to get until you open it.
