I totally admit, I do Honest diapers solely for the cuteness factor (I am obsessed with the prints, adorable!). Otherwise, haven't really noticed a difference, both do their job!

7th generation just did not work for us! Tons of leaks and blow outs. Lo is really tall and skinny with thin legs so maybe the fit was just off? We use honest and like them best though we still have spillage issues sometimes

We used seventh gen for DD. I'm using Honest for DS. There's really no difference minus the cute prints.
I will say that I can't stand Honest wipes though. Seventh gen wipes are my favorite and I always have a few packs at home.

I believe 7th Gen have the chemical absorbent gel in them, whereas Honest are supposed to be natural. We have lots of blowouts (up the back, never out the legs -- DD is a chunkster. But honestly, I think it's more a daycare issue than a diaper issue because we rarely have to do outfit changes at home...) But we still use them because we want as few chemicals on her as possible...who knows if we're naive or bring suckered, though.

Having used both, I prefer Earth's Best. Earth friendly, good fit, and mid range in price.
@purplepeony: I believe Honest uses a small amount of SAP in their diapers too.
