Great idea! I had no clue what I was reading the first time I logged into a baby site. I thought I was reading another language! Here are a few more:

FM - Fertility Monitor
OPK - Ovulation Predictor Kit
CD - Cycle Day
LP - Luteal Phase

A couple abbreviations (just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more) that can have two meanings:
CD= can mean Cycle Day, or Cloth Diaper
DD= can mean Darling/Dear Daughter or Disposable Diaper
Obvs, context is the key
BM= Bowel movement (but I think most ppl would know this already, lol)

DH= Dear husband... or on a bad day Dumb/Damn husband... LOL
FI= Fiance
BC= Birth control
EWCM= Egg white cervical mucus

HSG - Hysterosalpingogram - x-ray
ICSI - Microfertilization
IUI - Intrauterine Insemination
IVF - In Vitro Fertilization
LH - Luteinizing Hormone - detected in OPKs
LP - Luteal Phase, days between ov & AF
O or OV - Ovulation

POAS Pregnancy, pregnant
PG Pregnancy, pregnant
PNV Prenatal Vitamin
RE - Reproductive Endocronolgist
SA - Semen Analysis
SAHM Stay at Home Mom
ROBI - A term used which refers to Robitussin or Guaifenesin Syrup (expectorant) used to thin CM
SO - Significant Other
SOD - Sex on Demand

TTC - Trying To Conceive
YI - Yeast Infection

I thought I'd give this thread a jump start for members that need a refresher!

Glad to see this thread. I've spent the last few days trying to figure out what LO was.

Ok what does FI and SMIL stand for??? I feel stupid for not being able to figure these out. Fiance? Sorry Mother In Law?
