(First of all - ty to everyone in this community fielding my million and one career questions!)

Any community college/ other adult level instructors here who can weigh in on whether a certificate on adult education would be helpful for a lawyer-turned-SAHM contemplating a career change? I know adjunct positions are really tough to get! I'm having a hard time breaking into the field without any formal experience or background in teaching (although I've tutored and been a TA).

Do you think a course in adult ed would be helpful or would they not consider anything below a MA in adult ed? And if so, is a MA in adult ed worth going for, or are job prospects pretty slim?
