Part of my plan with the OB is that he'll do the tubal ligation at the same time as the c-section. I was wondering if anyone has done this or gone back and had it done separately? What is it like?

@LovelyPlum: I feel like it'll be the best thing for him. As much as I don't want to do that to myself, it does feel good to be able to make a choice instead of waiting for yet another thing to happen.

I did!
After my DD was born my OB asked me one last time "Ok, you still want the tubal?" I said yes and she snipped snipped and was done! It took like 3 extra minutes.
The spinal was still going so I didn't feel anything.
Then she stitched me up and that was that!

Just wanted to follow. Not pregnant, but if we are lucky enough to have another, I'm considering this as I will have a C-section with #2.

No, but my husband already got a Vasectomy...
