Hi bees! I'm new to this board and wanted to find out how many bees are currently NTNP? When did you decide to stop preventing?

We're kind of NTNP... I don't think we're going for a 3rd, so I loosely prevent mid-cycle, but also not actively preventing either.

I stopped BCPs in June and we pulled out for a few months, we decided to NTNP this month and see what happens, will probably actively TTC if it takes longer than 6 months, this will be our first! -
@lioness21: So exciting! When I was trying for my first, after I came off pills, I just could not NTNP once I learned all about TTC haha. I tried to chart and figure out my ovulation for 2 cycles but was too confused, and went straight to using OPKs my 3rd cycle and conceived! Then my LO2 was conceived while NTNP

@snowjewelz: I always had an irregular cycle pre-BCPs, usually ranged between 30-40 days, once I had an 18 day cycle. Coming off the pill I had a 28, 14, 19, and 24 day cycle, currently on CD22 and hope it lasts longer this cycle. I have no idea if I'm ovulating, I did have some spotting on CD16, I feel like I can't say I'm TTC because I don't actually know when I'm ovulating, we've just been BDing EOD and we'll see what happens.

@lioness21: Yeah, that's why I went to using OPKs because my cycles post pills were not regular and I couldn't tell with any other symptoms and it was just a lot to BD all the time haha!

@snowjewelz: I feel like I don't want to stress myself out too early on in the process and want to just see how nature takes it's course over the next few months, I will look into buying OPKs in the future to confirm. I've actually purchased a BBT thermometer online (as we don't have them readily available in the country I live in) and I'm waiting for it to arrive so I can start charting to identify if I'm ovulating! I've always had this irrational fear that I will suffer with infertility because of the fact that I have irregular cycles, but I know that I need to trust in God's plan for my life

@lioness21: Aww hang in there! I def don't think irregular cycles is an indicator of anything really! I'm sure others will chime in here too. We usually have monthly POAS threads for support/solidarity!
