I'm just wondering if its possible to get pregnant while still nursing at night. LO cosleeps and nurses frequently throughout the night.

No experience with this, but my OB told me she got pregnant accidentally while she was BF frequently and thought that she wouldn't get KU so.... I was very careful.

Yes! Still cosleeping and night nursing and I'm currently pregnant. My cycle returned when DS was 12 months and I got pregnant just a month later.

Yes I was still nursing night and day actually. My cycles did return though although they were extremely unpredictable.

I know many people who have gotten pregnant while they were still nursing many times a day - it's definitely possible!

I had trouble getting pregnant while nursing at night and while I did get pregnant while LO was still night nursing I cut back on it a lot and tried to get an at least 6 hour stretch without nursing.

Yep, I'll chime in with the others and say it happened to me too!!! LO still nurses 2-3 times a night.

LO was nursing 5x a day, then I would pump once at night before bed, and then he woke up to nurse 1-2 times at night. I didn't think I could get pregnant with 8 sessions a day and no period yet, but....yup. I did.

All these stories excite me! I have the worst baby fever but my DD is only 5.5 months old. Have a long way to go before we are finished BF'ing

@Greentea: YES! So many people think they are "safe" just bc Aunt Flo hasn't returned. Not true!
