@ValentineMommy: I think some state universities are doing online programs now, and I'd go with that. Since they are "real" brick-and-mortar universities and are already respected, it seems like the safest bet.

I would do what @Anagram: suggested and find one that is attached to a respected brick and mortar university.

@Anagram: @sunny: I second this! I'm getting my Master's online through a state university and it is exactly the same classes/expectations/professors as the brick and mortar degree. There are lots of online options these days, especially in the community college arena.

I have a degree from Antioch University in Los Angeles, it's not completely online, but low-residency (I had to go to LA twice a year for 2 weeks at a time). Mine is different because it's for creative writing (which is mostly a solitary undertaking) but it's a brick and mortar place that also offers online degrees. I would go the brick and mortar route, not with a program at an organization that's completely online.

I have completed a certificate program online. I think the key is to find a legitimate university (look into state schools, for a start) and then review their online programs. Many schools offer business degrees online these days.
