Just trying to decide...we need a more rewarding credit card. I live in a somewhat rural area but we do have an Amazon distribution center here, so I use it a LOT because we get stuff quickly that I can't buy in town. Lots of toiletries, food stuff, along with other purchases (probably picking up car seats on Prime Day, for example). Thoughts on the Amazon credit card? It seems like a win-win what with no annual fee.

I have it and really like it! The rewards aren't great on non-Amazon purchases but I only use it on Amazon. The rewards points are loaded directly on to your Amazon account so they're super easy to apply to purchases.

I have it and I'm happy with it. I get 5% cash back on Amazon and Whole Foods purchases, 2% cash back on gas. You theoretically also get 2% cash back on restaurants and drug stores, but, I find those don't consistently categorize correctly for the rewards. I have a different card that is 1.5% cash back on everything that I use for everything except Amazon, WF, and gas.
The one downside to the Amazon card is that if you use something like Paribus to get price adjustments on Amazon, it won't work with purchases made on the Amazon card -- neither Amazon nor VISA will adjust. If I need to make a big ticket Amazon purchase that I know has volatile pricing that is likely go waaaay lower within 30 days, I'll sometimes use a different card. But, OTOH, if the price doesn't drop, you've missed out on 5% back on a pricey purchase. Eh.

I have it and get good cash back at wholefoods too as well as points for Amazon purchases.

I have it and have been happy. I always put large cash purchases on it to get the points. Like last month I had to spend $500 on tires, I charged it to my Amazon card then immediately logged onto the app and paid it off.

we've also been very happy with us and the rewards for amazon purchases have been great. we don't carry a balance, but pay it off each month, so I can't speak to anything beyond that.

We like ours. Just be sure to redeem your points for cash, not for amazon purchases (you don’t earn points on purchases made with points, so it makes more sense to do cash instead).

I have it and love it! I accrue a ton of points and sometimes get gift cards for people at Xmas or I use it towards my balance (should I not do that??)

I have it, but I only use it on Amazon purchases for the 5%. Otherwise I have a Citi Double Cash which earns 2% on all purchases, no fee.

@Eminthevalley: we have it and we use for amazon. We have been using the credits for our purchases.
We have another primary card through fidelity that gives us better cash back. I can’t remember the exact deal though as dh is in charge of this stuff.
