DD wants to paint her room - its been the same way since she was 3 and she turns 7 in March so I agreed =)
She said she wants blue - is there an app I can use that will change out the wall color from a picture of her room? She also has chair rail so wondering about 2 tones as well.

I do this for myself and clients using photshop. You can do this in the trial (free) version i believe.

You could try Sherwin Williams. I think they offer that service and I'm pretty sure you can upload your own photo.

@mamaof2 not sure about on a phone, but on a computer you can select the area and replace it with another color or shade

@Mamaof2: Sherwin Williams has an app called ColorSnap. They let you upload your own photos but you may only be able to use SW colors.
Btw, I know you didn't ask, but if you're looking for a great blue for your DD's bedroom, I highly recommend Ewing Blue (BM Colonial Williamsburg collection). We used it in my DD's room and hers is one of my favorite rooms in the house.

Ultimately, your best bet is to get little test pots and paint sample swatches in the room. It's really hard to gauge how a color will look with the lighting in your specific room without slapping some of it on the wall. We learned that the hard way trying to find a gray for A's nursery.
