Which do you prefer? For DDs birthday i am thinking about doing small fruit pies as favors (5inc pies) and I'm wondering which will be simpler? I think if I can find pre made pie crusts of the right size it would be easier to just top the pie with a fullcrust and maybe punch out a shape to make it pretty. Sometimes it hard to get the top of the pie to look nice and symmetrical. I always struggle with folding the pie crust edges. So i was wondering if i should go the crumble route since its more straight forward to sprinkle it on top. The only thing is that sometimes the crumble looks messy to me.
Do you guys have ideas?
