Negativo for me. As expected. I really, really hope I actually get my period today... At least that would reassure me that my parts are working.

@oliviaoblivia: I think I see a little something! Were you not able to get a FRER? fingers crossed!!!

  5. oliviaoblivia

@theotherstark: nope. Everything is closed for Easter up here. I think I'm just getting really mean evaps. Though my bfp with dd was really squinty at 12 dpo. I'm still only 10 dpo.

@oliviaoblivia: argh! Well I do see a little shadow, but I'm not sure if it has color. Could just be too early; hopefully you can get your hands on an FRER soon!

@oliviaoblivia: i see a shadow but the line looks wider away than my eye is used to i will admit. I still think you are pregnant though and hope we will see a nice solid line tomorrow on a FRER!

@oliviaoblivia & @simplyfelicity-- fingers crossed for darkening of your positives!! You both must be so anxious- hang in there. Hopefully, one more day will make all the difference.

A little update for my HB friends---I am in a strange predicament: i had a temp drop on 11 dpo (98.4 to 97.9) so naturally I thought I was out. My LP is usually only 11-12 days. But this morning (12 dpo) it went back to where it was at 10 dpo (98.4). I feel nothing by way of symptoms-- had cramps for the last two days and massive headache which is typical for me. I guess tomorrow will be telling with morning temps. Still pretty sure I'm a rollover but AF is slow to show!!!

Forgot to add: I noticed a little speck of blood in the sink after brushing teeth this morning. Wishfully thinking it meant something-- but I think I'm grasping at straws

ETA: I tested bfn on wondfo early this morning, 12 dpo.

@Lady Hibiscus: Thank you for your kind words! My sis looked at my tests and she thinks everything is going well (she is on kid 4 AMD has had two mcs.) I have to remind myself that I am only 11 dpo.
Anyway, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!!! If not this month, I am sure very soon!

So, I was feeling down this morning about the tests but my sis looked at them and said it does look like it is getting wider and darker. Here are the side-by-sides my sis made (I so love her. :)) The top tests are from yesterday and bottom are from today. Top pic is FRER and bottom is dollar store test.

    @simplyfelicity: Congratulations!!!

@oliviaoblivia: I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!! I would love for us to be going through pregnancy together after all that TTCing we went through together back in 2012!!!

@simplyfelicity: Glad you're feeling better about things! I did the same thing, continued to test and let myself get freaked out when they weren't darkening. Thankfully the bees convinced me to stop and I'm 20 weeks now! Congrats again!

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@FaithFertility: @Torchwood: Thank you! I was disheartened when I thought it was negative this morning but I felt so much better seeing the side by side pics. I can totally see why people tell you to put the pee sticks away! I will feel much better once I miss AF.

I would just love to get a positive digi! I am thinking of testing tomorrow with FMU. Do you think that is too early for a positive digi? I will be at 12dpo. I got a negative digi with SMU on 10 dpo.

  21. Torchwood

    pomelo / 5607 posts

@simplyfelicity: I got a negative on a digi AFTER a positive on one (10dpo and 11dpo), with a pregnancy that was progressing at the time. Different concentrations of urine, I assume. I personally wouldn't risk it until you were far along enough to be pretty sure it would come out positive, like 13 or 14dpo? But I was really upset by that negative, so I wouldn't want to repeat it. And I totally agree on that feeling of just wanting to get past AF day. It almost made me regret testing early, because I was running to the bathroom all day, even when I knew AF wasn't coming!

  22. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@Torchwood: Thanks for the advice! Will do! I competely agree! I almost wish I had waited to test, but I really couldn't help it! If this little bean doesn't stick, I will try my hardest to not test before AF. DH and I are cautiously optimistic. I do see that the tests are getting darker and I am totally feeling some symptoms, so I hope these are good things!

I'm out, AF came today. On to next month. Strangely OK with this. Only my 3rd cycle since my son's birth.

@dagret: Sorry AF came, but good to hear your OK with it. How old is your son? Have your cycles been fairly regular? I'm on my first PP cycle and haven't O'd at CD20. When we were TTC #1 I would O around CD 15 so wondering when it's going to happen

  25. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

@Torchwood: ugh, same thing happened to me. The negative the day after positive was so disheartening. However, I then opened both tests up and the negative one had a darker line than the positive one! I don't trust digis the way I trust FRERs. I'm 11 weeks on Tues, so hopefully all is still progressing well. Congrats on reaching 20 weeks!!!

I promise this is my last pee stick. So, I am 11 dpo today and got my bfp on a digi just now. Pretty excited! The POAS phase has ended for me-- just praying for a sticky bean! Lucky baby dust to all you ladies! Thanks for everyone's support and kind words!

Okay, ladies. I'm cross-posting from the 6+ month board, maybe because I need all the support I can get right now... maybe so I can be a cautionary tale? 11 DPO today and my tests have not gotten any darker. My FRER at 8 DPO was faint but positive immediately (it looked like SimpleFelicity's 11 DPO FRER)... FRER was negative at 9 DPO and maybe negative this morning at 11 DPO (there was the hint of a line, but not enough to believe in it). My cheapie tests are still very faint, but have all been positive. I know it's still very early, and I know my U was much more concentrated at 8 DPO than it has been since (I drank a couple of large glasses of wine the night of 7 DPO and no water)... I also still have crazy symptoms. But I have to say, I am not feeling very optimistic. I am fully anticipating a CP or (I really hope not) an EP at this point.

ETA - just in case anyone is wondering. I do NOT regret testing so early (I would much rather have all in this my records and know that I *can* get pregnant), but I *am* feeling rather stupid and embarassed for letting myself get so excited so early. I have not told DH about the subsequent tests because he skeptical of early results as it is and I don't need to send him on this emotional roller coaster.

@septca: ugh I'm sorry this is so stressful and uncertain. Can you go in to your docs office to get your levels checked? Would that ease your mind or make it worse? I'm pulling for you!

  37. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@septca: I'm hoping it's still really early and that's why tests aren't getting darker.

@septca: I hope your hormones are just taking some time to steadily level up! 11 DPO can still be early. Don't lose up and keep testing! We're here for you

  39. LBee

    pomegranate / 3895 posts

@septca: This sounds so stressful and I cannot even imagine. I'm thinking about you as this continues to shake out - I'm hoping it's just too early or weird tests. I know other Bees have gone through having a positive FRER then a negative FRER. Can you call your doctor?

  40. septca

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts

@BakerBee: @snowjewelz: @littlek: @winniebee: Thanks, ladies. I really appreciate your support and really need it today.

I am going back and forth on the betas thing. Last time my numbers were *really* low at the beginning and slow to rise (only a 7 at 10 DPO - 5 is considered negative). Waiting for the results and then having them be inconclusive was incredibly stressful. I really don't want to go through that again. Plus, I think my doctor would give me the side eye for being stressed so early. I think I am just going to wait and see what happens - in a normal cycle, I would start spotting tomorrow and AF would be here Friday. I am supposed to have an u/s at the end of next week anyway, so I think I would rather hold out until then - if AF stays away - because the u/s is so much more conclusive and less annoying than waiting for multiple sets of betas.
