I'm looking for a cheap-ish umbrella stroller for travel. DH and are planning our first trip for when LO is 2 1/2 months, and we expect to do a lot of travel over the next few years. Most umbrella strollers that I see are marked 6 months and up. I assume that's because of the risk of the child's head falling forward when seated upright. But even the strollers that recline a good bit (but aren't quite flat) are still marked thus. The only other factor is the height of the straps for the harness. Is there a maximum height above the shoulder that's safe? I was planning to buy an infant insert/support, which may help.

Has anyone else done this? What lightweight travel stroller do you use and when did you start using it? Recommendations, fellow bees? Cost, weight, and safety are all factors.
