I love ballet flats. I have also heard that Tieks are super-comfy... but I cannot get past the price tag. Does anyone have a pair? Are they worth it?

Super cute! No way would I buy them b/c of the price tag (I love my $30 Gap ballet flats!) but if I had the extra $$$ I'd totally do it

Subscribing!
I've been tempted to grab a pair too. I'm hesitant though because I splurged on Tory Burch flats and they make my feet bleed. They are the most expensive and most uncomfortable pair of flats I own.

I like banana republic ballet flats - I've been wondering about the tieks too.

@rahlyrah: my friend said that her TB flats needed breaking
in before they got comfy! I know that my Vera Wang and Steve Madden ones did too.

@sunny: I've heard that too. They hurt so bad though I can't bring myself to wear them long enough to break them in!

Today I had lunch with a friend who was wearing Tieks today and she LOVES them! We are both in the wedding industry and spend a lot of time on our feet, so I am definitely starting to consider getting them too. We both had $100-off coupon codes the other month, and she used it, and I didn't. She purchased the most basic pair and got them for $65 with the discount. Now I'm bummed that the code is expired and I missed out, haha!

@rahlyrah: Don't worry. I've worn my TB flats for a long time and they still kill my feet. I have really bony feet, so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

@BananaPancakes: I have really bony feet, too. You may be on to something...

I can't believe I've never heard of these before...and I like to think I'm on top of fashion trends!
Can anyone post a pic of their Tieks on their feet for me? I'd love to see them in action. Also, how would I potentially get a coupon code? $100 off would be pretty awesome.

I've neve heard of these but now I want two pairs. If they are comfortable it would be worth it to me as I wear flats daily.

@rahlyrah: So now we just need to find someone with bony feet who already own Tieks to find out if they're worth it!

@rahlyrah: Try putting them on over a pair of thick socks and taking your blow dryer to them.

I have them and love them. I have wider feet so did have to break them in. DH even encouraged me to get another pair because I wear them so much and they have held up in the 2 years I have owned them.

@Sammyfab: The $100 coupon code isn't available to the public, unfortunately. They sponsored an industry event I attended back in January, so they gave us the code! It expired shortly after... bummer, I regret not using it!

@LindsayInNYC: I've never heard of them either, but I'm super curious now!
I love the metallic ones. I teach/run around campus all day, and I almost always have two pairs of shoes in my bag, especially at conferences! I'm beginning to think good things about these shoes. I second a PP: we need a pic of someone wearing them!

@Meridian: Where did you get the discount from? Im in the wedding industry as well. I just cant get past the price, but know I would probably love them!

@citymouse: The discount was during The Special Event conference in Chicago this past January. Attendees to the Gala got the coupon code, but it was only valid for a few weeks!

I know Dear Baby blog got a few pairs to trial, and absolutely loved them! I don't have the link to the post that she wrote about them, but she raved about how great they are. Plus, they're SUPER cute (I think they all have aqua soles...adorable!)

I would like them on facebook, I see them post about deals sometimes I think! I work from home and in FL so I have no need right now but I think they're ADORABLE and I encouraged my mom to check them out.

Reviving this post!! Anyone own a pair? Trying to justify the price tag...

@ustechie: I’ve owned (and quickly resold) 2 pairs. The first I ordered too big, wore for a while, and then sold (they don’t do half sizes). The second fit better but the dye stained my feet horribly after 1 wear. Customer service was appalling and I had to fight them pretty hard and got nasty responses about how this “never happens,” insinuating I’d somehow fabricated the pictures of my stained feet! They refused a refund and instead sent a new pair which I sold. Some people swear by them, but if it were me I’d look for a gently used pair on the Facebook B/S/T and see if I liked them without investing the hefty price from the getgo. I’ve learned they aren’t a “try before you buy” company.

I have a pair and I love them. I second trying on a pair before investing. I tried on a friends pair for like 30 seconds and I knew immediately I "needed" a pair. They make my feet so happy.
