I'm a little of both. I have the same username on multiple sites and this is the only one that I use a non-identifying picture for. I do it since I talk so much about TTC on this site and not IRL but if people wanted to know what I look like, they could find it. The hubs is anti-facebook and most other forms of social media, so I don't post pictures of him.

I'm not terribly private, but I don't have a blog or twitter or anything. My name on here (and WB, and Google, and pretty much all the other sites I do belong to), is an abbreviated form of my last name. Some of them include my first name, or an initial. I have no qualms putting photos of myself up (unless they're bad photos, haha), because despite my privacy settings I just assume FB has sold me out to the internet as a whole anyway, and anyone can see them. I'm also not shy about putting up pictures of DH, and he doesn't really care either way.

ETA: Personal life-wise, I think I'm much more anonymous on FB than I am on here or WB. I didn't want my friends and family to know about our struggles to get pregnant, or all the gory pregnancy details. I definitely wouldn't ask my FB friends about leaky boobs, and I know none of them would be on either of these sites so I feel some freedom in the content of what I share here.

I open about some things and private about others. I've seen some scary security issues and I watch the news, so I try to limit some of the info I put on the Internet.

I used to be a lot more open than I am now and my husband haaates it. He hates having any information about him or his pictures out there. He graciously lets me put pictures out every once in a while and I demanded he let me share our wedding photos b/c I thought we both looked gooood.

My first and last name are on my blog, but I keep his name private. I'm still pretty open with my identity online.

I did change my HelloBee name when I first announced I was pregnant on here because I didn't want it tied to my Twitter account and have people find out before I told them (not like that would have happened, but whatever). So, my name on HelloBee is like nothing I've ever used before. I do put pictures of myself in my avatar, though so I don't mind now that people know it's me.

I lead two internet lives. Oliviaoblivia is my alter ego for personal stuff (TTC, babies, relationship) and my real name (not Olivia btw) is tied to professional social media and stuff like that.

It wouldn't take much to ID me, but there are two other people who share the same moniker. (One lived in California the last time I talked to her. Very interesting lady. Never contacted the third.) I use another moniker for my writing. I used to use my real name for writing and art. It's so embarrassing now, seeing the stuff I got published, even though it got picked up by a few specialty magazines. I stopped using that when I got embarrassed by my older stuff.

Nope pretty open. Use this name or a simular one.

Anonymous. I'm a pretty private person generally.

'mrs. bird' is a hellobee only name, i wanted it to be unrelated to my weddingbee name as there are pics on me & DH on weddingbee. i am pretty open on my facebook (i keep very few facebook friends), but not about things like TTC, most people wouldn't want to read that stuff on their newsfeed =D i'd like to think i'm pretty anonymous on the rest of the web- i don't blog or have a twitter. but honestly, i'm sure if someone REALLY wanted to they'd be able to figure things out.

I'm a very private person, so being open on the internet scares me!

@mrbee: ah yes, the elusive Mr. Bee!!! I'm so glad we met because before we met, I had no idea what to picture when reading things from you... now I picture YOU!

I am a total open book. Way too much. I've slipped up a couple of times and felt regret, but in general I find it difficult to hold back.

I'm more private now than I was before I had DS. I don't post his name and I've only posted a few pictures. My facebook is completely private and I'm only friends with people I actually know. I really would love to blog but I worry about privacy. My name is not very common and our last name isn't either. I worry about that so I try to keep it off of public websites.

My hubby's the privacy freak. No pics of him allowed. I'm pretty open...although I didn't use my usual name for hellobee....but if someone asks, I wouldn't hide it...

I need to work on being more anonymous on forums. My dad somehow found my account on weddingbee and found a post where I thought I was pregnant (before I was married). He we furious with me, and then basically was my online cyber stalker. he even found me after I got a new username. Wtf?
