Unless it's something where we are saving at least $2-300, you can't pay me to go to the stores on Black Friday!
Online shopping on the other hand.

No. I'll shop online for a couple Christmas gifts.

Probably not. We did last year because we were specifically looking for a TV, but I almost never do otherwise. But if my sisters-in-law want to go I might go with them and get some PJs or something for Ev. I really don't need to buy anything else.

Nooo. If I had free childcare and weren't very pregnant, I'd consider going for fun with DH, but no haha. I prefer to shop leisurely online!

Most of the deals are available now or over cyber Monday. So probably not. I do think we will go out for Small Business Saturday though
nectarine / 2115 posts
No! I really only ever check out the online deals. Crowds like that make me hate people.
pomegranate / 3401 posts
Yes! But only one store. It's a holiday tradition for my SIL and I to check out Anthropologie on Black Friday and then have coffee afterwards.

No plans. I want to support small business Saturday and will probably shop online too.

Nope. Nothing is worth it to me. But you gotta have the money to go out in the first place

Not this year, I usually do, but I'm just too pregnant. I'm definitely shopping online!

I rarely ever (dare I say, never) go Black Friday shopping but this year I am!! I look at it as a novelty. Plus I scheduled a massage/spa treatment midday. It will be fun! . Crowds don't scare me but I hate lines. I'm prepared to window shop if the lines are longBTW I rarely go out shopping so this is an EVENT to me. LO is finally old enough I can spread my wings and treat myself to a good ole shopping spree. Did I mention the mall opens at 6am and that's what time I'm going?!

Almost never! Not my thing. I'll check out a few things online, but we are going to go on a hike on Friday.

My sister and I gave for years, but don't think we are this year. It's more tradition than anything. I can't really support the stores opening on thanksgiving so it takes some of the fun out of it for me.
coconut / 8279 posts
Yes! It's a tradition with my friends and one of the few times a year the guys stay in with LOs so we can meet up!
I'm an early bird anyway. We get to the mall at 6am (it's not crazy or busy, ever), shop and then breakfast & mimosas/bloody marys.
ETA stores are closed in Massachusetts on Thanksgiving (Massachusetts Blue Laws)

I'm going to Michaels for some frames for Christmas gifts but that's it. We used to go as a family when I was a kid and it was so fun and a tradition I looked forward to but it's not the same now. I buy mostly online these days, especially now with a 3 week old. I still love looking at the ads though.

Probably not, but would like to try to get to Barnes and Noble to see what books they have signed.

Yes!!! We eat at 4, will head to Walmart at 5 and be back by 6 for family games and dessert. So I guess only gone to miss dishes! Haha jk.... Maybe.
persimmon / 1458 posts
No but I've gotten some online deals already and hope to get more on Friday or Monday.

Yes b/c my husband and I like to hit the mall to browse once the early morning crowds have
Dispersed. He's getting a shave at the Art of Shaving while I walk around, then we'll have lunch and Starbucks

i wish i didn't have to work, then i would totally go. I purposely did not schedule any clients friday morning so i can do some online shopping
And i will go out for a couple of hours in the evening.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
Hell yes I will! I don't even need anything, but it's fun to window shop and get some smaller gifts. It's a fun tradition for mom and I.
honeydew / 7917 posts
Mostly online. There are only a few stores that I might want to possibly check out but only after the initial rush. Maybe sometime Friday evening.

I was planning on standing in line at target today for the doorbuster deal on the bob revolution se...but they put their doorbusters online this morning! Now I can relax all day!

@JennyG: yes we used to go every year but being open on thanksgiving kills me.
@rachiecakes: I wish more places were like this.
