We "fall back" on Sunday, November 2! I'm thinking that whoever invented DST didn't have kids.
What time do your kids go to sleep and wake up now? Are you ready to fall back?

At the risk of sounding totally pedantic, we're actually on DST right now -- the change in a couple weeks is back to Standard Time! (This is one of those little things that drives me nuts for no good reason.)
And no, I'm not ready...I'm scared

Sleep sometime around 7-8. Wake up 7-7:30.
I can't wait because I love darker nights. It has never caused any lingering sleep issues so I hope it stays that way.

I'm not ready. Our son wakes up at 630 as it is. He usually adjusts within a week but man I am not looking forward to 5:30 am.

I'm not worried about sleep, I just hate when it gets so dark at 5pm - it's depressing!

I'm not ready. It's dark when I get to work and dark when I leave. I very rarely see the sun during the week during the winter.

I don't think I'm ready, but hoping my kids surprise me. LO1 goes down at 7 but does fine going down later. LO2 is a monster at 5:45/6:00pm so is in bed around that time. There's no way it can be 4:45/5:00 that's way too early. Hoping she adjusts well.

It has never been an issue with sleep in the past, but now Liam plays outside until 6:30 or 7, so I'm nervous about what to do with him without resorting to TV all the time.

I am not ready!!! DD goes down at 8.30 and wakes up at 6.30. If she starts getting up at 5.30 I'll never make it to the gym!!!

I like it because it means I start photoshoots at 1pm or so Rather than 7pm in June. Evenings off all winter for the win.

Not looking forward to it getting dark so early but can't wait for all the upcoming festivities and decor!

I never knew different countries switched back at different times! Here in the UK we are switching this weekend, Sunday 26th Oct. My DS wakes any time from 5.30 - 6.30, and I am crossing everything that he adjusts quickly!

I'm ready, I'm hoping we can get her to sleep earlier and I'm not worried about waking up early since it's a struggle, this might help get her up at a decent time!

I'm not worried about baby's sleep, but I just don't like when it gets dark super early.

It's never bothered my kids sleep but I personally do not like it getting dark earlier

I am not looking forward to it. I am so much more productive after the kids go to sleep at night when it is summer. When it gets dark outside so quick, all I want to do is go to bed too!

Actually in our case it will work out great because our son is going to bed at 9 or 9:30 and we really want that to be 8 or 8:30

I think that DST is great for families and people with kids! Who doesn't like hanging outside in the summa summa summatime with your children running around?
We're not ready for it to end We could deal with C's sleep since she sleeps 8:30p-8:00a, but H's sleep is HORRIBLE right now and we'll have to sleep train soon and he's still swaddled... so I guess since it's already bad, it won't be much different from the norm.

Not ready at all. I hate going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. Plus, I hate winter and suffer from seasonal depression so.. yay me.
I do like the extra hour of sleep though!

Not worried about sleep but I do hate when I pick up the kids from DCP and its already dark outside

NO. I've ranted about this much. DST is stupid. I don't care if it is DST or ST but just pick one and STICK WITH IT. sigh.

It didn't matter last year cause LO was only 2 months old. We'll see how it goes this year. I'm sure it will be fine. (There's power in positive thinking, right?) I usually enjoy "falling back" though.
