We moved her to a twin bed after her 2nd bday. She was fine in the crib, but we needed the crib for baby #2.

DD1 went straight to a twin bed at 23 months and the transition went smoothly. She was fine in the crib but we needed it for #2.

26 months to floor bed for both kids. charlie wouldn't stop climbing out of his crib in his sleep sack which made falling a big hazard.
olive didn't try to climb out but we transitioned her anyway.

@mrsjyw: maybe 28 months from crib to toddler bed, and 31 months to a twin bed.

We got J a twin bed at 26 months so we could move his crib into the nursery for L. She is still sleeping with us but it's nice that he knows it's her crib now, although I've caught him in it a few times lol.

16 months, when she wouldn't stop climbing out of her crib. It was only due to a falling hazard, would have left her for much longer.

19 months due to climbing out. i would have totally kept her in until at least 2.5 if she didnt climb out before hand.

There was no transition, one day he was in the crib, the next day he was on the futon. It was between 18 and 20 months.

25 months. We moved and decided to just put her in a twin instead of waiting 2 months for her crib to get there.

Not until 33 months. We might have kept him in longer, but we wanted to transition a few months before LO2 arrived. The transition went better than expected!

right at about 25 months, since another one was on the way. Otherwise, I would have probably kept her in the crib longer, she never tried to climb out and was pretty content in there. with my 2nd one, she's 21 months, I think I might transition her out of the crib in a few months, she's already tried to climb out a few times, plus she sees big sister's bed so I think she wants to sleep in there too.

My oldest, 3 and a few months b/c we needed it for #2. My youngest, the plan is around 3 too, but just to a toddler rail since we never used it with my first. I have a feeling he's going to be really hard to transition b/c he doesn't even want a new sleep sack even if his is getting too short and it starting to rip...

A is only in her crib for a few hours every night but we are planning to transition her to a floor bed ASAP and she's 21 months. Just today, she managed to get her sleep sack off and climb out of her crib and back round onto my bed at nap time

Wondering this too!
We're thinking of holding off as long as possible but it would have to be before #2, if all goes well that would be just shy of 2.5!

24.5 months and he's still in his crib. He hasn't tried to climb out at all yet (he has tried to climb IN once or twice when I was taking too long to lift him in).
