This update had me in tears last night. I am so incredibly heartbroken for you, your family, and sweet Lucas. Your love for him is so apparent - I can't imagine having to make that decision. Your strength is shining through! We will all be thinking of you in your last days with your precious son.

I have typed a message several times, but I keep deleting it because words aren't enough. I am so incredibly sorry you're going through this. My heart breaks for you, your family, and for Lucas. I hope the time you're able to spend with him brings some comfort and peace.

Words could never be enough. I wish I had a way to take this hurt away from you and Lucas. To keep you from having to make this horribly difficult decision. You have so much strength, even if you don't always feel it, it's evident in the way you talk about this battle and the love you have for your son. We are praying for you and I pray that you all have peace, grace and love through this time.
