We have a preschooler and a toddler and are struggling with our preschooler forgetting to close the baby gate, which puts our toddler at risk. I’m also open to a gate that isn’t the walk through style if necessary.
Any recommendations?

It is not a walkthrough and really hard to open. We lift our preschooler over it when he asks.

We have a few, and this is the only one left that our 2 year old can't open! She bites the other childproof latches open.

We have this in white. LO is almost 4 and can’t open it. Some adults have trouble with it too!

I will specifically NOT recommend this one. It’s really hard to open but also really hard to close. As in many adults can’t do either and DH usually just climbs over it, at the top of our stairs. Since it’s so annoying to close we often don’t bother.
But if it’s someplace you never need to open it then it’s a good option.

2 year old had it figured out in a day and the latch itself is so flimsy that it really doesn’t even close anymore. We close it with a cabinet latch 🙄
