Oh my goodness. I'm 30 weeks this week and for the past two nights when I lay down to sleep the baby goes nuts. Kicks me in the cervix a few times and some of them are so sharp I yell out. My poor fiancée looked at me concerned. Just this week it seems like the little guy has gotten so strong. Not sure why he loves being so low down there at night, but it's his new thing. Ouch. 
Did anyone else deal with this? Anything to make them move?

My second especially did this-- turns out she was breech and that's why I felt it so strongly. Once she flipped somewhere around 36 weeks, that lessened.

Ohhh my yes....I described it as her clawing her way out, it was solo painful!
I was a teacher and would have to stop dead in my tracks it hurt so bad....lol

My baby isn't breech but has been head butting my cervix since maybe 26-28 weeks. It's my second and my OB said after your first, babies tend to ride lower in the pelvis. It's annoying but I hope that it's working on my cervix thinning/dilating since I'm 37 weeks tomorrow.

Oh i had this repeatedly one night at 39 weeks and it hurt so badly i thought i was in labor and told dh ' this is it'.... Turns out it wasn't and i went 2 weeks longer, but man those jabs hurt!

Yes!!!! I know the feeling...I'm 38 w right now and sometimes I feel like I can feel her little nails trying to claw her way out !!!
