Do you share your baby registry with family and friends? It feels....I don't know, it feels somewhat wrong to share with anyone but close family (Hey! Buy my baby stuff!) But we're not having a baby shower and our last baby was 6.5 years ago so, we need a lot of stuff.
I'm thinking of just sharing it with my parents and my brother, because they wouldn't think twice.
No one has asked if we have a registry, I don't mind sharing if we were asked.

I wouldn’t share it unless someone asked for the info. I would start crowd sourcing the local BST groups for items. Maybe some friends have some hand me down stuff.

Perhaps someone will throw you a baby shower? That’s the only time I think it’s okay to include.

I shared it with only those who asked. Some people found my registry online themselves. The only person that didn’t ask for it, but I wanted to show and discuss all the cool baby stuff was my dad. He brought over banana bread! Lol

I made one for DS2 as a running list for myself, but if someone asked for it I shared it.
I used Babylist this time around and one thing I liked is that I could keep some items private. So for example there’s no way I expected anyone to buy car seats for my 2nd. So I hid those. I only showed things like clothes, bibs, bottles, etc. Ours are 3.5 years apart and opposite seasons so we got rid of a lot of the essentials and needed some we didn’t have before.
Very few asked for an actual registry though. Just parents and one or two of their friends. Mostly people just got cute clothes or personalized items for #2.

I'd do the same; send it to people you're super duper close to, and wait for others to ask. Maybe people haven't asked because they think there might be a shower invite with that info in the near future?

I made a private amazon registry for my second baby. And then if anyone asked me what I wanted or if I needed anything, I told them I could share my private registry with them and added that I made it for myself for the discount.

@mediagirl: nope. My registry was just for me to organize my needs and get the completion discounts. People who really want to buy you something will do so regardless and usually include a gift receipt.

@Mrsbells: yeah, it just feels gross to do it. I wasn't planning on it, I was just curious on other's thoughts. It certainly is a good place to keep track of what I need though. So. Many. Things.
