What is the etiquette for gifts being sent directly to my house from Amazon? I'm not sure who's sending them, or if they are coming.... am I supposed to save them to open at my shower (this coming Saturday) or can I open them now and get rid of all the big brown amazon boxes?

@PurplePumps: I would open the boxes. They may even be gift wrapped and have a note. I would not send a gift directly to the recipient unless I was unable to attend the function.

If it's anything big I'd just open it prior and make sure to thank them if they come. I had some family do that so we didn't have to cram big things in our car to take them home
And I agree open them. They will likely be wrapped inside anyway

Agree...open them, add to your TY list and dont bring them to your shower. If there happens to be no note inside look online after this weekend. Amazon has a list I believe where it records gifts from your registry.

@PurplePumps: I'd still open the boxes. Open anything gift wrapped at the shower. Anything not I'd just ask the person if they want you to have it out.
