Have you started back to school shopping for your little ones yet? What's on your list to buy/what have you bought?
I did a trip to Target for some clothes, shoes and a backpack and to Carter's for a few outfits. She still need supplies from her list (we are waiting on that still), some socks and a jacket. I've always loved back to school shopping, turns out LO loves it as well

@Bao: yes! I've done a socks and undies restock (Gap critter socks are on sale right now with free shipping!), ad bought most of their simple leggings for layering under dresses. I'd purchased a few specific things at the end of last season, and ordered short sleeve dresses for the beginning of school in the Tea and HA sakes (since it will be warm here through October, probably). I'm waiting for Target to get in more long sleeve options to take the girls shopping

Oh man shopping for a new season of clothes gives me so much anxiety! I like school supply / general school shopping but I dread figuring out what clothes they need / how many / what goes together / getting a good price! I would love if someone put together a kid's capsule wardrobe and I could just click "add to cart" haha.

I need to spend some time sorting through what we have before I can get a handle on what we'll need for next year. I'm thinking I want her input this year so that we have fewer issues getting dressed this coming year. She's 5 in December.

We just bought new shoes and underwear. I need to replace his socks and that's probably it for now. It's going to be warm here for awhile and he is growing so much (at least 1.5" since April!) I don't want to buy pants yet.

@HappyBaker: That's called a uniform, or dress code, hahaha!
eta: I noticed when I buy my son's stuff at one particular store, say carters or osh kosh, they have collections where the tops go with the bottoms. I buy a few bottoms and a few tops and it all mixes and matches.
I've purchased my son's polo shirts (3 white, 3 navy), sweatpants for gym (2 gray, 2 navy), pants (3 khaki, 3 navy) and shorts (2 navy, 2 khaki).
I still have to get the long sleeved polos, sneakers and winter coat. Other than that, if he needs a new fleece vest, I will get that when he outgrows the current 2 he has.
School supplies I will get closer to the first day, but there isn't much to buy.

@looch: I hated wearing a uniform as a kid but now as a parent I WISH my kids had to wear them - makes things so much easier!!!
As far as this year goes - I need to figure out what still fits and then make a list of whet they need

She goes to childcare at a private school so we are on a school year schedule-summers, spring break and winter break off. I'm reusing her backpack and bento box. I'd love a new water bottle that she likes too. She's too old for the Zoli cups now. Usually I just send her to school in hand me downs.

@HappyBaker: Our daycare was going to move to a uniform, they had started it for the preschool, but then they ended up closing the daycare portion.
I think that's basically how Carters and Gymboree work. They have a collection for the season and most things seem to go together.

@HappyBaker: For a while I was getting Facebook ads that was like stitch fix for kids, and everything was mix and matchable that came in the box. I don't remember the name though.
We haven't bought anything yet, I'll do some big shopping trips next month when I'm more sure about sizes for DD and there are more sales.
