Morning wake up during the school year was 5am and bedtime around 6:30. (Note - they don't SSTN, but this is when I began nursing them to sleep for the night.)

I'd love to push both those back a bit for the summer. In September, we won't need the kids to wakeup until about 5:45 anyway. It would be nice, at least for summer, for their bedtime to be a little later so that we could 1) eat dinner as a family instead of my husband and I cooking and eating after they go to bed. 2) have time as a family since my DH usually gets home as they are 5 minutes from nursing or after they fall asleep.

So my question...how the heck do you do that? I've always read kids will sleep later with an earlier bedtime. But I don't want an earlier bedtime
