DD is day trained but still wears a diaper for bed time (and wakes up with it full!). I'm down to the last few diapers and wondering if I should order another box or just skip and stick with pull-ups (which she wears for naps). What would you do?

DS isn't fully night trained either. We used pull ups from day 1.

We never used pullups, the reviews made me scared about leaks. We stuck with diapers.

We use pull-ups! Just so she gets used to pulling up and down and making a toddler lay down for a diaper is a pain

i'm using up our diapers still and she still sometimes wears pulls ups overnight. they sometimes get really full, sometimes are more dry. we haven't had an issue with leaks, but i have noticed that sometimes DD gets a small rash if we don't get the pull up off right away in the morning because it doesn't absorb as much and her bum is wet against it, so that's my one concern.

We didnt use pullups for over night because DD's skin is sensitive and we noticed she would be a diaper rash from the wetness.

@chopsuey: @kodybear: @birdofafeather: what brand pull ups do you ladies use? I just bought the Pampers Easy Ups Training Pants and the scent is so strong! DD has been scratching her bum a lot and I wonder if it's from the pull ups.

@dolphin: we've used the huggies pull up brand. just tonight she refused the diaper, so i guess we're committing to the pull ups for now. i would try other brands, but she's really into the characters on them, even though she's never seen any of the shows except minnie (who she calls mickey) and i think it makes it fun for her.

We used Target up and ups for nap til he started staying dry and now he's in undies for naps! We used the same ones for nighttime til we ran out. I found one unused pack of dupes were using up at nighttime even though ds has been dry or waking to pee most nights! Need to get a mattress cover and bite the bullet!

@mrsjyw: how long did it take for your LO to start waking up dry consistently after he was day trained? DD has been in underwear during the day for 3 weeks now but I feel like it's going to be awhile before she stays dry consistently for night!

@dolphin: I think for nighttime it's just been the last month! He's been trained for a few months now. Naps we switched to underwear pretty early on, maybe after the first month?

We just stuck with diapers. I don't really get pull-ups so I never used them!

We have been using diapers since we had a bunch left anyways. He's only been trained for 7w but waakes to pee most nights and wakes dry mostly (for the past month?). Probably will just use the rest of the diapers and then just let him go in undies. He was mad tonight actually that he couldn't wear undies to bed.
