Every year we draw names for Xmas gifts, and this year I have my SIL. She has asked for a new robe, and wants one that is longer than her knees and is 'cozy'. I prefer terry robes, but I have a feeling that she wants less of a bath robe and more of a hang-out robe.
Anyone have a favourite that might fit the bill?

I just got the men's version of this robe for my husband and he LOVES it. It's like a sweatshirt on the outside and lined in Sherpa type material. Super cozy. Don't know if it's too casual for what you're looking for, but it is COZY.

I got an awesome velour Juicy robe at the Rack with matching sweats several years ago. It's still my go to weekend loungewear. You may be able to find something similar now that Kohls carries Juicy.

It fees like those suuuper soft baby lovies and stuffed animals. I was eyeing it for years and asked for it for last Christmas from my MIL. I lived in it for weeks postpartum too

Oprah has one in her list this year and my favourite"home" store in our nearby city advertised the other day that they carry it! That's a double whammy of recommendation in my book! Want me to find the brand?

@yoursilverlining: mmm that looks perfect. I have two robes for the house but neither really fit the bill for me. One is too thin and short (so, good for summer), the other is nice and thick and long, but almost *too* thick sometimes.

@blackbird: It is realllllllllllllllllly cozy. I was worried it would be too warm for DH since he runs hot and it's a thick and long robe, but he's totally living in and hasn't made a peep about it being too warm!
