Maddy was up all night long with a sore throat, headache, and high fever. Tylenol brought her fever down to 101 from almost 104, but didn't do anything for her sore throat. She went to sleep fine, no complaints so it was a little unexpected ( her big brother missed 3 days of school with this at the beginning of the week). She woke up choked/gagged because of the pain, I thought she threw up but she didn't.
What's your best sore throat remedy?

My pediatrician friend recommended hot water and honey when C was coughing a lot at night (after 1 of course). She suggested just using enough hot water to thin it a little and spoon feeding her some to coat her throat. I didn't try it because as usual, as soon as I had a new plan, her symptoms changed.

I bought some frozen fruit bars and honey. She liked the fruit bar, and wants nothing to do with honey right now
