I'm in need of a new wet/dry bag for daycare. The zipper handle broke off at daycare yesterday, and when I tried to attach a new pull, the entire thing broke. I also noticed that it's getting some holes on the outside, so it's time.
I currently have the PlanetWise bag pictured, but I'm open to trying other brands as I'm not really thrilled with this one breaking after only a year of use. What is your favorite?

That is the one I have...we have 3 that are in good condition. A few people at daycare use the Bumkins brand.

@blackbird: I know! I'm so mad about it. I've had it for nearly 16 months but we've only used it for 13 since I didn't take my cloth out as a newborn. It gets washed twice a week and I don't use it much on the weekends because we don't go out much.

A friend of mine (hi J) has both planet wise and Thirsties and likes the thirsties better (dries faster). But they don't make a double bag like that with a dry pouch too.
I've also tried GroVia drawstring (great) and Skiphop (terrible).

@avivoca: We have the Kanga Care ones (better) and Blueberry (terrible - the smell comes right through them). I also had 2 Bummis, but they fell apart.
My daycare provider complains about the smell when there are poopy diapers, so now she has us using sposies for naptime (his preferred pooping time). It frustrates me, but it's better than no CD at all.

Based on your reviews, I purchased a Bumkins wet/dry bag and I'll be going to our local cloth diaper store to see what they have in stock. I'm happy with my PlanetWise wet bags for our diaper pail, so I may give them another shot on the wet/dry side.
@ballerinabee: Ooh, you can get the wet bag in the Bonnie print! I have a Bonnie diaper and it's adorable. I might have to get one of those too.

Gen-Y. We have tried Fuzzibunz (okay), Planetwise (hate them), Petunias (etsy-- they're okay, but didn't last as long as I would have hoped and one failed catastrophically in our backpack one day), Rumparooz (pretty awesome), and Gen-Y, which to me is hands-down the best. The ones we have are big eough to hold a full day's worth of diapers in the "dry" part, I use it like a purse if we need diapers along but don't need to take much else, the prints are really fun, they are sturdy, they don't leak smells and don't get damp when they are full, and they have two different ways to carry or hang them. They are good enough that I am planning to review them on the blog.

I'm with blackbird we really like our planet wise bag, I've used it for16 months and bought it used with no issues. Although I just looked up the warranty and it's horrid, 60 days!

@jetsa: I love my wet bags, but I'm not happy with my wet/dry bag. I will probably give it another chance, just waiting to see what my CD store has in stock. I'd buy the Kanga Care bag in a heartbeat if it was wet/dry because it is so cute.

@MamaCate: I probably should just post about all the ones we have tried. Ellie was in cloth for a few months before underwear, and Lorelei is coming up on 3 years in cloth. So we've had time. 
@avivoca: I think KangaCare/Rumparooz are the same. Those are my second favorite. Really forgiving waterproofing material, very well sealed/taped, last a long time, and hold a lot. I would give them the "best bang for your buck" award. If you don't mind spending a bit more, and are looking for something that's just generally the most awesome, the Gen-Y bags would be my pick.

Just thought I might chime in, even though I didn't use cloth diapers, I use the Kanga Care bag as a swimming bag and love it to death! It has never leaked on me, I've taken it overseas as well as a swimming and dirty laundry bag (actually, it held smelly nappies in there too!) love it

I got an itzy ritzy one from the classifieds here and LOVE it!! it's held up to sopping wet bathing suits.
