What's the best and worst thing your LO is doing right now?

Worst: Teething. Hate.
Best: She just figured out sharing and it is cracking me up and melting my heart. When she's eating she periodically holds her food out to me and if I take a tiny bit she giggles and giggles. And when she is chewing on toys she will hold them up to my mouth so I can chew too (I decline but thank her lol) and she also tries to give her toys to the dog to chew. Just seriously the cutest thing ever.

Worst: Tantrums, and just generally being frustrated that she can't do certain things. (She's still not walking. 
)
Best: She's just such a vibrant person. She's starting to talk, signing a lot, and just being really funny. I also especially love that she's potty training, and so proud of herself when she pees/poops in the toilet.
@Mae: I LOVED when she started to share. It was so, so cute!

Just shy of 18 months.
Worst: Crazy scream-fests at dinnertime (combo of 2-1 nap transition, increased food pickiness, and newfound realization that even when she figures out how to ask for something she wants, we may still say no)
Best: She's picking up new words every day and she's always amazing me with how much she knows. She's also got a wicked sense of humor (loves to squirt us with her bath toys!).

@Smurfette: I'm not looking forward to tantrums! I'm starting to see juuuust the first tiny little bit of it as LO is getting more insistent on what she wants and is harder to redirect away from inappropriate stuff.
All the talking sounds so fun though

@Mae: I thought they were bad at 1 but geeze 2 is awful. I am hoping it is teething related and it will pass once all the molars cut.

best: talking a lot more. he remembers a surprising amount of things and i just wanna squish him really hard whenever he busts out with something new or unexpected.
worst: he remembers things. like that there's cake in the fridge and he WANTS IT NOW.

best: They're so sweet at this age! She'll pat me and go "okay mommy" and it cracks me up.
worst: The tantrums. yesterday she tried to thrash kick me in the face and threw herself down at the park very dramatically and a little boy asked his mommy if I pushed that little girl.

DS1 (2.5)
Best - all the talking! He can express himself so much more. I love hearing him sing along to songs. He's also become appreciative. I melt when he says "thank you, mama."
Worst - so picky when it comes to eating now 
DS2 (10.5 months) - he's happier now that he is more mobile. He's just so sweet.
Worst - nothing really.

Alice (11 months)
Best - she's started dancing! She bounces and swings her arms around and it's adorable!
Worst - sleep!! It's chaos over here again. They've started pooping all night long. Like 3-4 times per night! So we have to do diaper changes and they scream the whole time and wake each other up. I think it's actually the Zantac that they're back on, so I'm hoping a switch of meds will help.
Blake (11 months)
Best - he's become a little "performer" trying to make us laugh. He'll flop down on the floor then look back at us to see if we laugh. He plays peekaboo constantly. He even blows raspberries on Alice's tummy to get her to giggle.
Worst - see above.

best: talking! so much talking. she gets almost as excited as i do when she says new words, and she learns so many words every day, it's amazing. i love her sweet little voice.
worst: this is more my fault than hers, but i haven't had any success with weaning lately, and it's starting to bum me out. I wanted to let her lead but i think i'm going to have to be a little more aggressive about it. and especially eating overnight....OVER IT!

Best - Snuggles, sleeping on my chest, overall a pretty easy baby
Worst - the 5pm witching hour where he seems to really struggle with gas =(

Best - I love having conversations with her. She's so observant and smart. And she's been really sweet with her new baby brother
Worst - Oh Lord, the tantrums and the whining. Obviously they've gotten worse since the new baby.

Worst: teething... Sometimes even chewing teething toys hurts his little gums Also, the fact that he's getting bored more easily & will arch his back and squirm whenever we go into a room he spends too much time in

DD is almost 23 months
Best: The talking -learning new words everyday, mimicking gestures, sweet laughters, and endless dancing! She loves music and dancing. She is such a joy to be around right now even though the tantrums are making their way in our household. She also gives the sweetest hugs and is so thoughtful!
Worst:
Being a picky eater and spitting out food, diaper change battles, tantrums at restaurants.

Worst: olives and raisins count as fruit and veggies around here because she's suddenly decided that only meat and cheese will do.

@HLK208: ugh YES to the putting everything in the mouth too. My floor has never been cleaner. And yet she still finds some random tumbleweed of dog hair I missed next to the refrigerator or finds a piece of fuzz from a blanket or ya know, my whole shoe I forgot to put in the closet and into her mouth it goes. (Also, last week she licked the trash can. sigh).

Best: She is becoming very self sufficient. She also is very polite and adept at explaining and describing things! It's amazing to think that 2.5 years ago she was still in the "baby blob" stage- eat, pee, poop, sleep, and of course cry!
Worst: tantrums!

Worst: the terrible twos have officially started!
Best: language explosion! Each day she spews out more random words and is even stringing them together! A big accomplishment especially since she's been in speech therapy!

Worst: DH says the wind up cry, he just starts to whimper and you know you can't stop the screaming that's coming. I say the fussy nursing sessions where I need to switch sides every two minutes because he starts crying after a minute

Best: all the talking, and the emerging imagination. I love how she puts all her animals to bed, covers them up and says nigh-night to them.

A week shy of 7 months...
Best: He's learned how to blow raspberries so he just sits and plays with toys and blows raspberries. Stops to smile at me. Then blows some more. Seriously so cute.
I also think he's started to fake cough to get my attention.
Worst: Still spits up a large amount. Way more than I expected at 6-7 months. Today he drenched a freshly washed pair of pants of mine that have to be hang dried. Annoying. And our couch cushion...twice. My apartment reeks of Alimentum spit up.

Almost 7 months.
Best: He started doing this thing when he smiles where he scrunches up his whole face. No one taught him how to do it - he just started doing it out of nowhere! It slays us. And the belly laughs!
Worst: He's been waking up in the middle of the night once or twice just to thrash around and holler/screech loudly. He goes back to sleep eventually but its too loud to roomshare anymore so we've had to put him to bed in the PNP in our guest room.

Best: The talking! She says new words every day and she's so funny!
Worst: Trashing the place! She can destroy a room in 30 seconds flat and my house looks like a squat!! I know if that's all I've got to moan about I'm very lucky!

Best: he's hilarious! He is a little ham and loves making us laugh, which ends in him belly laughing too, which is so cute
Worst: he's wicked smart and into everything. He can open and close the backyard gate and a lot of baby-proofing doesn't faze him, so we are constantly on our toes, keeping him safe! He's completely fearless and it's downright terrifying sometimes. It only takes a second of looking away.

19 months best - hugging and kissing, silly dancing before bed. Worst - screaming so loud i can't hear for a minute afterwards.

Worst: the tantrums and flat out refusing to do things. She now says "No, I don't want that" anytime I ask her to do something.
Best: she's hilarious and incredibly sweet. She loves Cookie Monster, and my favourite thing she says is "Cookie Monster. Num num num, delicious!"

Best: Starting to become very social - we're getting real big baby laughs and he just lights up when big brother comes over to say hi.
Worst: Naps. He hates taking them, but gets super crabby without them.
Almost 2!
Best: Tie between how great he is with his brother (lots of hugs and kisses and squeals whenever I walk into a room holding the baby) and how he does in his big boy bed (if he wakes up before us in the morning he grabs a book and sits in bed 'reading it' until we come and get him.)
Worst: He just started completely ignoring me when I tell him to do something he doesn't want to do. Oh, and the constant whining for snacks.

Best: She is becoming such a cool and independent little person. She feeds herself, she plays independently, and she is so good at pulling up.
Worst: With independence comes strong opinions and tantrums. She screams and kicks and flails 9/10 diaper changes and bath time is nothing short of dangerous as she insists on being a constant (and slippery) ball of motion. And lord help me if I stop he from touching a cord.

Best: We're potty-training, and whenever he poops he says "I pooped! That's so awesome!" Then when D or I use the bathroom, he comes and sits beside us and says "Mommy/Daddy pooped! That's so awesome! I'm so proud of you!" 
Worst: He's pushing boundaries a lot lately. He'll very deliberately do things he knows he's not supposed to do to see how I react (like take off his shoes and socks in the car). But with that particular example it's still cute, because he gets distracted by his toes and starts playing "this little piggy"
