N will be 4 months on Wednesday. But she's in 9m clothes and weighs at least 17 lbs or so. She's over the 90th percentile for height and weight. I've had her on 4 oz bottles for a while. Everyone still says she's young, their stomachs are small, feed often and feed smaller amounts. BUT, she's really only happy if I give her 6 oz. She'll tolerate 4, but fusses afterward like she's mad it's done. I finally gave in today and just did 6 oz every feeding. She took much longer naps and was hardly fussy at all, even during dinner, when she's usually at her fussiest. She just went down for the night easily without any fuss. Can I just feed her 6 oz? She's the size O was at 10 months and I wouldn't have thought twice about that (although O never willingly ate 6 oz at a time). Total ounces for the day ended up at 30 (bottles at 6, 10:30, 1:30, 4:30 and 8-she sleeps through the night) which I know is high, but she's SOOOO much happier.
