What are your favorite books for the 3-6 month age group? We have Where is Baby's Belly Button, a couple of Sandra Boynton books as well as a couple of the Mo Willems pigeon books, which I love. Any other must-haves?

C's favorite was "Look, Look!" because it was so bold and easy for him to focus on.

Touch and feel books are the best at that age! At least, my LO really enjoyed them. We have the "That's Not My..." Series (That's not my puppy, that's not my tractor, etc)

Sandra Boynton is my fav Also any of those "bright baby" books with just photos of objects/animals and their name/color etc and anything with touch/feel areas! I also love Mama Mama, it's such a sweet book

@Pepper: my DD loved the "Look Look" books, too, and still does at 7 months. We also have a Baby Curious George counting book that she loved, as well as a couple of the Llama Llama books (Zippety Zoom and Hippety Hop or something like that...too tired to go look). Also a couple books from the "Little Friends" series http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0312516797/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1406096170&sr=8-1.

The soft crinkly books. Anything else was for my pleasure, not hers.

We have a couple of Baby Lit books that my 3.5 month old loves to stare at. I also like Llama Llama and Sandra Boynton books because they're fun to read aloud.
He's lately been getting stressed while we read books to him because he really wants to hold the book (and eat it) and he can't always figure out how to do it...so we don't read to him as much.

My son did really well with the flap books by DK publishing. The pictures are weird, but they are photos, which he just loved, coupled with a flap that he could manipulate.

We were gifted the "peek a baby" book by jellycat (ithttp://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000IDOINY/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1406123055&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70) and it's lo's favorite! She's just started to be able to use her hands and loves it, it's more interactive than the other soft books we have (and she can't really hold or get into hard/board books yet, though we read those to her too--she just doesn't look at them). Her eyes get big and she focuses on it so intently! I just ordered a couple more of the jelllycat books to see if she likes those too
