Looking to add some new titles to our library - what are some of your favorite children's books?

@Mrs. Champagne: I LOVE this book! We have so much fun reading it!! There's a similar one called 'Tap the Tree" (or something like that).
I love all of Oliver Jeffers' books but my LO could take or leave them.
My LO likes old school Dr. Seuss books that my husband had as a child. He also loves books where he has to find objects.

Ty!@Sammyfab: I'll look at the Oliver Jeffers books! We love our old school Dr Seuss books, too - she's currently obsessed w/the ABC one.

@Sammyfab: I love all of Oliver Jeffers' books too but i don't think they're interesting for LO either.
LO still loves Eric Carle (we have the regular Brown Bear one and the endangered species Panda Bear book) and Richard Scarry's Busytown series. Jolly Postman is another favourite because she loves to pull out the letters/postcards.

We just got The Day the Crayons Quit and I love it. LO (22 months) is really into anything Curious George right now. Good Night Good Night Construction Site is also a popular one currently.

@Freckles: Ahhh...Jolly Postman!!! I totally forgot about that book. It is now on my must-buy list!
@pinkcupcake: We love the ABC one too! There's a Wocket in my Pocket and The Foot Book are also big favourites.
If your LO is into animals, Sharon Montrose has a book of just photos of various animals (no words). It is a beautiful book and we just flip through it and talk about the different animals. -
"The Big Hungry Bear" is one I had never heard of that is now a favorite!
