I would like to read a few books to LO about starting preschool, to prepare her a little bit more. Maybe something about leaving in general, she's only been left with a handful of people before. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Llama Llama Misses Mama is a great one! DD1 has always liked that book and when we went to her preschool orientation two weeks ago, she was quoting that book as various pieces of the puzzle fell into place for her (mama is going to go away but mama always comes back etc).

My LO likes Max and Millie Go to School. And if you let her watch TV, Daniel Tiger helps. LO is super excited about starting preschool in September because of DT & friends.

@mrbee: @mrsjazz: I third Daniel Tiger. There are two or three episodes that are great for this.
I really like the book Love Waves. It is more about separation / parents working than going to school but it is a very sweet, positive book about being connected even when you are apart.
