Books I read.in 2017 that I enjoyed and stuck with me:
Between Breaths (non-fiction, Elizabeth Vargas)
Drop The Ball (non-fiction, Tiffany Dufu)
The Woman in Cabin 10 (Ruth Ware)
A Home for Happy Mothers (Amulya Malladi)
There's more but I'll have to do a round 2 later instead of toggling between Goodreads and HB on my phone!
ETA: I listened to Night Road by Kristin Hannah on audio book...it was fantastic. I'm not sure if it was the audio in particular or what, but it was impactful.

Sea of Tranquility - Katja Millay
Clara and Mr. Tiffany - Susan Vreeland
Diplomat's Daughter - Karin Tanabe
Hate U Give - Angie Thomas (this should really be required reading, tbh)
For 2018, I'm going to do the Read Harder challenge from Book Riot again, so I'm looking at reading Peony by Pearl Buck, re-reading Wrinkle in Time, reading Charlotte's Web for the first time, and figuring out good reads for all the other categories. I just started This is How It Always Is, so glad to see it getting some love.
Side note: folks who love book recs, I highly advise checking out the What Should I Read Next podcast from Anne Bogel (Modern Mrs. Darcy). I've gotten a ton of great recommendations from that podcast.
