Did your son train sitting or standing?
We're potty training DS now, and he'll only pee standing!
He's doing great so far!!

I'm not a mom yet, but I trained my much younger brother. He LOVED standing because we would throw Fruit Loops cereal in the toilet, and he would get points for hitting them.

We haven't started yet but we've been having him practice by sitting on the potty. I am so not ready for the standing!!

@petunia354: hahah his aim is good! So far he's gone once standing and 2x sitting. Omg this is going sooo much better than I expected.
He pees, and starts yelling "yay!!!!!"
We made a huge deal when he pee'd for the first time in the potty! -

He started sitting but quickly went to standing since that is how DH went!

Sitting for the first year! Then he started standing. We would put a cheerio in the potty to get him to aim, lol!

We started by sitting, he chose to start standing about a year ago and now he does a froggy (stand on the seat and hands on the other seat). He's kinda silly.

Sitting at first, unless we were in a public bathroom. He's just starting to work on standing half a year later.

Both the older boys started sitting, and as far as I know, they still sit. I think that's due to being around their mom more and not learning from DH.
ETA: We haven't started with L. Not ready for that noise, yet!
