We have the single and adore it, so I'm inclined to get the double but it is two across and I know lots of folks don't like that! Anyone have it?

Yes, I have it! It is really huge, but does fit through standard doorways. Also, for being so big it is a very smooth ride! We haven't done much loading and unloading it from our cars, but I imagine that will be a pain because it's heavy. Right now we primarily use our double snap n go or babywearing and only use the indie for neighborhood walks. The babies seem happy to ride in it so far and it's very nice that it lays almost flat so we can use it already with my 3 month olds.

@twodoghouse: We typically use ours for walks -- our single is a BEAST and handles trails/rough terrain without any problems and I absolutely adore it. But it seems like the double would be a total no-go for mall shopping because the single can barely fit. Thanks for the feedback!!

@scg00387: Honestly, if I didn't have two the same age I probably would not have a side by side because it is just so big. But for twins I like the idea of them being next to each other. But if you want to go for side by side, it's a really great stroller!

I LOVE mine. It's honestly such a perfect double. You can jog with it, fit through standard doors, etc. I started with an UBV with the rumble seat and felt like a weight lifted when we got the indie twin!

@twodoghouse: yeah it will be a 2.5 year old & new baby by the time it's used. I feel like the front to back option leaves no one seeing anything though? I've never actually pushed either.
@Sparkler: thanks!

Subbing. We'll have a 2.5 year age difference and are unsure about even getting a double, but this is one I'm eyeing.

Hmm, interesting. Good to know for the future. I love, love our single Bumbleride stroller.

@scg00387: I haven't spent any significant time pushing a double, but after spending a few hours at the zoo pushing a tandem while I was pregnant, I told my husband we were getting a side-by-side when the time came. It was so awkward, heavy, and frustrating to turn, but it was a lower end stroller too so I don't know if it played a factor.

We have a 2.5 age difference, have the indie twin with no regrets. I use it for neighborhood walks and it fits through the doors of all the shops we go in. I wanted to make sure my older LO still liked the stroller and I sensed he would not like it if he did not have a good view. He loves to sit next to his brother. We are still using the bassinet attachment at 3 months. I love the sunshades, it handles bumpy sidewalks quite well, I love that the bottom cargo space is big and I also really appreciate the built in zipper pockets. The cup holder is a bit of a pain, as it does get hung up on doors occasionally. It has some give though, so it likely won't break off. I have not tried to run with it, but like that it is possible even though a double bob would be better suited for regular runs.

@twodoghouse: How you liking your bumbleride indie now? I found a display for 50% off. I think it would be great for trips to the zoo or places where there is more space.

@bluestriped bee: Ah, sorry, just saw this question! My kids went through a phase of hating the big stroller (well, and any sort of device meant to contain them...) but we've been using the Indie Twin lately and they actually like it! It is still really heavy (but I think all big doubles are!), but I can get it in and out of my car without too much trouble and I'm not really very strong. Pushing it is a breeze which is what I like the best - I can drink my coffee and push one handed which is pretty remarkable with a big wide double! My kids are 2 now and I think they actually fit in it really well now. There was a phase for a while where they were too big for it to be reclined but the seat was a little too big for them so it was sort of awkward. There is a 5 pt harness though, which is nice!

@twodoghouse: never told u I got a used bumble ride indie twin per ur recommendation.
It *is* so heavy and big but I use it all the time to walk to the park and love that it can handle bumps and grass and etc so well
