I bought this spray and i started using it on LO's butt and I already feel as though its making a difference after just one day. I'm not sure if I am using it right though. Does anyone use this?

@runsyellowlites: break out on their butt? How do you make your spray?

@Mrsbells: I think wiping off is the typical intent....but we use regular wipes and then just use the spray as an extra bit of freshening/cleaning, mostly after gnarly diapers...it's just how my mom taught me to do things.

I recently made my own wipes using this as a guide http://www.homemademamas.net/2010/07/homemade-baby-wipes.html
They turned out okay but got kinda soggy after a few days. I may just make the liquid mix and use it as a spray and use the Viva towels for wipes. LO has pretty sensitive skin and gets diaper rash easily.

@Mrsbells: It gave her a rash. Here's my current wipe solution:
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil (I'm out of Coconut oil)
1 tablespoon EVO
1 tablespoon Dr Bronner's Liquid Castile Soap (mine has tea tree oil in it so I didn't add any more)
2 drops tea tree oil (omitted since my Dr. Bronner's already had it)
1 drop lavender oil
1 cup water
(the Sesame oil has a really strong smell so next time I'll use a bit less)
I keep it in an empty CJ's Butter Plus Spritz bottle.

@runsyellowlites: funny, when I made my own spray it made my LO break out. I don't use this brand of spray, but I use one that is made locally where I am. I love it.

@MerryC: funny: my DH uses spray like you, as an 'after' and I use it as a 'during'.

@cvbee: what was in the one you made?
I have made my own before too:
Baby soap of choice- I love California baby, my sis uses Dr. Bronner's
Essential oils of choice: my favorites are lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus and lemon. They get the most benefit from variety; so change it up each time you make it.
Water
EVOO
Now that he is older I just dilute baby wash.

@Coco Bee: The one I made had Burt's Bees Baby oil, burt's Bees soap, and water. The one we buy is quite different from that....can't remember all of it, but it has soothing Witch Hazel in it, and isn't oily. I think he got the pimple from the oil.

Thanks! I thought this was helping her butt, but now I am not sure maybe I need to dilute it a bit
