This thread reminded me of the time I desperately wanted Kraft mac and cheese as a pregnancy craving. We didn't have any in the house, so I went up the street to the produce market in search of it. I managed to get a few boxes and got my craving satisfied.

Yum! Totally can! Boxed mac and cheese was my favorite food growing up. Totally nutritious I know.

Absolutely! ...although I often eat an entire box of Annie's whole wheat shells & cheese instead. Somehow I justify that it must be "healthy" b/c of the whole wheat pasta and natural ingredients, but I doubt it's really that much more healthy than regular old Kraft!

yes! i usually add vegetables though so i get a little bit of nutritional value though, lol. growing up we ALWAYS added peas, but now I sometimes use broccoli instead, or I steam an artichoke on the side and dip the leaves into the cheesy sauce

Yes and happily so. Every night if I could. My mom swears if you cut me open, I'd be orange in the middle from all the mac and cheese I've consumed over the years!

Mmmmm. Yes. With extra milk so its creamier. I haven't had it in years though because Mr. Hedgie is convinced it is the lamest dinner ever and adding stuff to it is so weird. I can't justify a whole box for a side dish either (since I would eat both side dishes and the rest while he stares at me like a crazy person.)

Oh i probably could! But I would reach for something else first. My brother eats a full box probably everyday and he is so skinny minny!

Yep but I'm lactose intolerant so I had to give it up. I only threw up twice during my pregnancy and once was because I ate a whole box of auntie annie's Mac n cheese. Really bad idea and why I cut out most of the dairy in my life.

It makes me super happy to see how many people can down a box of Mac-n-cheese!!! I feel so guilty when I do, but it's sooooi good! Why I rarely buy it now.

I kind of feel like everyone can?? Unless you are a really light eater or something. Carbs like that just go down so fast and easy - you don't even realize you're full until the pot is empty Yum - I love the Annie's kinds. The few times a year my husband is away for work I stock up!

Nope, it's too cheesy and makes me feel sick if I eat too much!

@MrsTiz: Too cheesy? Is there such thing as too cheesy?
