We got DS a strider bike for his 3rd birthday. Totally couldn't get into it. My MIL got him a bike with training wheels for Christmas and he tried it but fell once and won't get on it again. Hopefully he can try again soon!

B is not quite 3 but he's a demon on a tricycle and shockingly good on his balance bike - I couldn't believe how far he could coast! He loves bikes, though, last week we rode his tricycle to the park in a snowstorm.

DS is 4.5 and has been riding a bike with training wheels since he was 3. We are hoping to get the training wheels off this spring/summer.

My 5 year old already rides a 2 wheeler. He didn't take to the strider right away, then he got really into it out of nowhere and it made all the difference.

Only with training wheels but we're taking hem off when he turns 4.
