DS has a stomach bug AGAIN. I want to scream!!! I think it's more than just diarrhea because he doesn't want to eat ANYTHING.
We have his first birthday planned for this upcoming Sunday. 4 days. In the past, his diarrhea usually took 4-5 days to improve and i feel that we should cancel the party today.
It was just going to be at our house (about 30 people) so luckily there isn't anything i need to cancel except for the cupcakes.
WWYD? Am i overreacting to cancel right away?

I wouldn't cancel just yet. But give everyone a heads up and let them know Saturday morning the final decision.

That's a tough call stomach bugs are so contagious and the germs can last a while, but it is only weds now. Could you see how he is tomorrow then cancel? How much notice do you need to give people (and the cupcakes)?

Don't cancel it! He should be on the tail end of it by then? Are the attendees all people near by that you can give a heads up?

I wouldn't cancel. If anything, he'd be on his last day of feeling icky....I'd at least wait until Friday to see what happens.

I would cancel just yet. I would start him on some probiotics ASAP if he isn't already. It clears DD up quick. Hope he feels better soon.
