On Black Friday, Cards Against Humanity was selling nothing for $5. 11,248 people gave the company $5 for nothing. 1,119 people gave more than that. 1 guy gave $100. 
The nice thing about this story is that CAH gave that money to their employees as a bonus. The company made a special post to show what their employees were spending their bonus on. It's amazing to see how many gave a LOT of their bonus to charity.

This is ridiculous and weird. If all the money went to a charity, I'd get it, but having people fund their holiday bonuses? Wtf.

Yeah, I don't get why people gave their money, but it is heart-warming to see that people gave the money to charities.

I dont know, some people really like CAH. Maybe they spent $20 on it but based on all the fun they would be willing to have spent $50 or $100! So this gave them a chance to pay the company what they really thought the product was worth to them.

I think it goes with their whole shtick. I thought it was hilarious. Never would give them $$ for it - and was shocked that people did. Glad to see much of it went to a good cause in the end.

My BIL is obsessed with this game, has all the expansions (including the bigger, blacker box). I can see him donating a few bucks to this.

CAH does stuff like this all the time. I think last year, their Black Friday "sale" had the deck priced higher than normal, and people still bought it.
