I'm 29 weeks and have just started having sharp pains in my cervix. Has anyone else experienced this? I go back to the doctor next week, but if it's not normal I want to give them a call.

I had them starting from sixteen weeks. Still get them now at 34 weeks. Doc said it was totally normal. And I've had lots of ultrasounds because of other issues and ive never had any cervical shortening. If you start to feel constant pain and/or pressure I would call your doctor. But as long as its just the sharp quick pains I wouldn't worry about it at all.

i'm 23 weeks, and i've been having the same sharp pain for probably the past 2-3 weeks. i think it's because she's either laying or kicking down there. i feel lots of occasional pressure on my bladder too, so i think she likes to hang out at the bottom.

I'm 29 weeks too, and ever so often she'll give me a swift kick there and it hurts.

Yes! It feels like someone gave baby a teeny tiny ice pick for stabbing. Started around 37w - was hoping it means things are moving along for me!
