What are some fun crafts/activities that your LOs can do mostly independently? We like play dough but coloring and paint in a ziplock bag loses magic for my kids pretty quickly. I'm not very good at these things and need some more ideas!

Super, super cheap: my lo LOVES coloring on catalogs that we get in the mail. Her favorite is to use a "grown up pen" so she can scribble as well as rip the pages when she presses really hard, lol. But you could also use them with scissors, or to make collages. Or markers, crayons, etc

My 4 year old has a bag of craft googly eyes that he loves to glue on his drawings. He also just likes to cut up paper and tape it back together. It's so random but it keeps him busy for a good chunk of time!

I modified that felt jack o lantern post that was on here last week and used foam sheets that stick - I cut out shapes for my LO and he is sticking them on the pumpkins making all sorts of faces. He also sticks them on everyone's clothes lol. He is going through a sticker phase now.
When I have a chance I will buy some stamps for him to use too.

@autumnleaves: I made a similar project, but a felt Christmas tree last year and DD played with it every single day for about 2 months while the decorations were up. She had a blast putting the lights, balls, and presents on her tree and it took me like half an hour to make it. You could make a tree with orange/red/yellow leaves or some other fall shape also.
She also loves glueing anything, so I will cut out a bunch of different themed shapes and let go to town with a gluestick. I recently did schoolbuses so I cut a bunch of big yellow rectangles, black wheels, and gray windows.
