Love this thread as I'm fresh out of ideas for my parents, in-laws and husband (although we usually don't really do gifts so just stocking stuffers for him)

    For LO (5):
Barbie dream house (scored a like-new used one from our neighbor!)
    Lego sets

Additionally, we are taking her to Disney on Ice on xmas Eve so that's counting as a christmas gift.

@NorthStar: Oh no, really? Yikes. We have the Code-a-pillar and that’s super loud and I kind of hate it...maybe I’ll have to reconsider the cat keyboard! But we have the dog guitar and he loves it...

@mrsbubbletea: Don’t have it but looked at it today at target! It’s actuallyreally cute. But like $60!!

@Foodnerd81: I feel kind of funny recommending this because we hardly use it and really didn't mean to get it so early, but when O was hospitalized at about 20 months my dad bought her a kindle fire. She's young for most games, but has figured out quite a few of the basic ones and it has been a life saver for her recent hospitalizations and our cross country plane rides. We hide it at home to avoid total addiction 😉

@Mrs. Turtle: don’t feel bad! Our little guy had lots of doctor visits as a baby and travel associated with many of them. We got him a kindle fire around the same age. The games helped relax him in waiting rooms and he learned a lot too!

@Mrs. Turtle: yeah exactly- we would limit it and hide it for sure. But I think she could do it for long car trips and things like that, especially before she is 3, and with a December bday I have to think ahead! But still...

Sisters -- Lush bath bombs and maybe some sleepy Lush lotion

    Neices -- Matilda Jane aprons
MIL -- Cinda B travel bag
    FIL -- Juicer

Husband -- Phone case, Scratch off lottery tickets, socks and a bottle of expensive liquor (all stockings since we splurge a lot year round on each other)

DD (2 yrs) -- Christmas kick off box for Dec. 1st -- stuffed reindeer, cup, pjs, movie and book all Christmas related and a fleece blanket. She's getting an easel with accessories, play-doh goodies, wonder wows, stickers, bandaids, piggy paint, broom set and maybe a leapfrog or magna tiles.

We will be out of town for the holidays, so we are just going to pack stocking stuffers for them to open on Christmas morning. When we get back home, they can open their gifts from us and from santa.

    For DD (4 years old):
Clothes, accessories for her Wellie Wisher
    Magic Tracks
    Books
Dresses - she wants to wear a dress every.single.day!

    For DD (2 years old):
Bitty baby accessories - she loves her baby! Maybe matching pjs?
    Some more duplos?

Joint gift - a Kidkraft dollhouse - I still can't decide on which dollhouse to go with!

@SweetiePie: I have the oxo press as well (replaced two other terrible ones that I used to have). It's awesome. The press plates are metal so they don't crack, it's easy to clean, and easy to press. It's a winner

@farawayyama: I got my son Magnatiles last year at Target. Before Christmas (I'm pretty sure it was before Black Friday, even) they have a one-day 40% off all toys sale. So maybe keep an eye open for that! Without that sale, he would not have gotten them - there's no way I would have spent the money on Magnatiles at regular price.

Does anyone have the Code-a-pillar? Is it as neat as it seems? And would it be appropriate for 3.5/4 year olds?

Also getting my son a new Osmo extension: Hot wheels racing.

@bees_knees: I have it. It is very neat, and I think would be fine for that age - we got it for my son when he was almost 3. He doesn’t totally get the hang of the coding part yet but I think that’s just because he’s only semi-interested, and because any time we fire it up his little brother picks it up and carries it around petting it’s head. It’s very loud, though. Very very loud. But I love it, I probably play with it more than the kids right now.

Both girls (4,1) are getting monogram Anywhere chairs, Christmas PJs. Their stockings will have cars, monogram mugs, bath toys, craft stuff, and some sort of cookies (Oreos for the big girl, Ella's kitchen baby cookies for the little). I will also get them each a book- big will get the second illustrated Harry Potter, the second will get ???

    Also-
4yo- extra wooden train tracks for her set, baby carrier for her doll
1 yo- abacus (she is obsessed with the one at the library), wooden musical instrument set

Me- my mom is getting me an instant pot! I am so exciteddd.

DH and I are just doing stockings for each other and saving our Christmas pennies for an anniversary trip in March. Although we did get a beer-a-day Advent calendar from Costco today.

Parents, siblings, and ILs are pretty much all getting something cute from Magnolia Market or a tote bag with a drawing from DD1's school (they have them printed with a drawing from all the kids and they are total grandparent candy).

I need ideas for DHs brothers- they are both single, childless, don't drink, and make tons of $$ so they just buy anything they would want. They aren't super into our kids either so any child art project would probably just get trashed.

If anyone is looking for games or puzzles, Amazon has some of the ravensburger puzzles for super cheap. They are awesome puzzles and great quality, so I picked up some for DD and one for a birthday present.

@Charm54: I am thinking of getting a snow tube for my son as well!

I am also getting him a magnet maze racing game, I found it via the games section in our library.
